Behind The Magic

Anastasia Thompson
CEO and Founder
My Name is Anastasia Thompson; I was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago in the Woodlawn and Englewood Communities. My retired Grandfather raised me most of my life. He was a retired Streets Sanitation worker for the City of Chicago. He took pride in his hard-work and accomplishments. My grandmother and her husband, who later became my adopted father, raised me in my pre-teen and teenage years. They owned a restaurant, night club, and commercial property. By the time I was 12, I had already learned how to manage the afternoon/evening weekend shifts at the restaurant. My upbringing would later prove to be the catalyst that help me get to where I am today. I am proud to be a first Generation College Graduate. My Undergraduate studies took place at Lewis University. I received a Scholar B.A in Social Science and Social Work. I later went on to study at the Graduate level at Roosevelt University concentrating on Executive Leadership. I have over 20yrs of retail, sales, operations, and management experience. I worked 4 of those years in Retail Banking, the other 16yrs in Fortune 500 companies. I started my first business when I was in grade school selling homemade jewelry and candy! I currently sit on the Executive Board of a growing Apparel Company. I’ve Mentored, Developed, Trained, and Recruited over a 100 leaders. I believe I can offer everyone something! Even if it’s not what they want to hear at the time, it will be beneficial in the end. My hobbies include a love for fashion and traveling with my husband when I am not helping others build their better tomorrow.

Tiarra Lofton
Vice President of Human Resources
My name is Tiarra Lofton. I was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago in the Englewood community with both parents and my older brother. My dad retired as a bus driver from De La Institute. He was the definition of a jack-of-all-trades and was the first to teach me the meaning of hard work. My mom helped to manage my grandparents’ businesses and taught me the importance of being a working mom. After high school, I became the first in my home and the second in my family to attend college. I earned a B.A. in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master’s in Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School. I have 8 years of human resources experience in retail management and the transportation industries. Currently, I am a HR Business Partner for one the largest federal contractors for the United States Post Office. Throughout my career, I’ve come to realize that training and development is what has called me to this field, because I am driven and motivated by the leaders that I’ve helped to reach their fullest potential. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, blogging, and just plain fun, but most importantly, I love spending time with my husband and cultivating the minds of my three beautiful children.
